The Warwick Towers
|Back to Projects
|By carefully listening to the client’s needs, and
designing simple, innovative solutions, Bill May created
a space that meets those needs in unexpected ways.
A simple storage system in the living room conceals all
stereo equipment, wine storage and big screen TV
behind acoustically transparent, perforated metal doors
which allow the client to hide the contents while
listening to music.
|The kitchen was completely reconfigured for a better
work flow using existing modular cabinetry.
|The master suite included a bedroom with seating area
adjacent to the balcony, an office to be used by both,
and a master bath.
|Conversations about how and when office tasks were
accomplished led to a solution featuring adjacent work
surfaces for each, one facing west with a view out the
window and another looking through the bedroom
seating area to the south. The office was raised to
facilitate the views.
|The master bath was
redesigned to include
the existing powder
room thus gaining room
for tub, enclosed toilet
and large shower.
