Prototype
Bill May developed a prototypical mall facility for
QuickTest, one of the nation’s largest market research
firms. Bill May Architects then conducted a major
expansion and rehab program, designing facilities in
Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois,
Kansas, Florida, Georgia, Washington, Oregon,
California and Texas.
In these offices, located in shopping malls, QuickTest
employees conduct market research studies for their
clients, many of the the nation’s major corporations.
The creative design of interview rooms with sliding
glass doors with vinyl screen graphics provided visual
privacy for respondents without the claustrophobic
results of typical small closed rooms. Numbers cut in
the screens identified rooms and displayed corporate
graphics.
