mall, became the prototype for several later restaurants
in the successful chain.
Elegant use of simple materials and finishes made this
design both dramatic and economical. Brightly colored
post and beam “portals” were used to modulate the
long, linear space and define the bar area, the entry
and two dining areas. Contrasting textures and colors
make the space a vibrant dining experience.
